Leonard Stan's Obituary
Leonard "Lenny" Stan was born in Pensacola, Florida on March the 21, 1927. He was a man of many accomplishments including everything from athlete to WWII veteran. Lenny was also an artist and public school teacher. He played third base and out fielder for the Texas Rangers in 1958. Lenord was in the U.S. Army Air Corps in WWII. He was a very social person. Lenny had close friends in all of the states he lived in including New York. He grew up in New York City. Lenny taught in New Mexico and in Texas. He leaves behind him a son and daughter, Jonah and Cassandra Stan and a brother Harold. Lenny retired in Texas , but moved to Palm Coast, Florida. He lived in Palm Coast for 23 years until he passed on Tuesday June 21, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at Jungle Hut Beach access on July 2nd, 2016 at 11:00 a.m
