Leslie John Brown III's Obituary
Leslie John Brown, III, 76, passed away on September 10, 2024 in Palm Coast, Florida to live eternally with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Les was born on July 15, 1948 in Gardiner, ME. He was a proud Marine veteran who received 3 Purple Hearts after being wounded in the battle at Vietnam. After the military, Les worked as a hydraulic engineer at Contemporary Machinery in Flagler Beach, FL where he met the love of his life, Mary. Les retired in 2010.
Leslie is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Mary (Talley) Brown, his two step children, Mark Denny and Stacie Beck, his son-in-law Matthew and his pride and joy: his 3 grand children Kalia, (John) Liam, and Emily. Les enjoyed shooting, fishing, hiking, canoeing and being outdoors. He absolutely loved spending time with his family and was the best PePaw to his grandchildren.
Les and Mary are members of Community Baptist Church in Bunnell, FL where his Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5th, at 11:00 AM.
