Mabel "Gwen" Robertson's Obituary
Mabel Gwendolyn “Gwen” Garland Robertson
1950 – 2025
With hearts full of both sorrow and gratitude, we announce the passing of Mabel Gwendolyn Garland Robertson, lovingly known as “Gwen,” who went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 14, 2025. She was 75 years old and passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the family she so dearly loved.
Born in the charming village of Falkland, Scotland, Gwen carried with her a deep-rooted love for her heritage, her Savior, and the beauty found in life’s simple moments. Her warmth and wisdom touched all who knew her.
Gwen devoted her life to caring for others, first and foremost as a mother whose love knew no bounds, and later as a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant. Whether at home or at work, she gave selflessly, always with a gentle smile and a servant’s heart. Her life was a reflection of the faith she held dear, and she was never shy to share the hope and joy she found in Jesus Christ.
To her ten grandchildren—and countless others who had the blessing of knowing her—she was affectionately called "Mommom" (or "Mummum"). Her hugs, her stories, her laughter, and her prayers will be deeply missed, yet forever treasured.
Gwen is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Ian Robertson (2012); her sons, Mark (2010) and Peter (1979); her granddaughter, McKenna (2005); and her sister, Sheena (2019) and her daughter-in-law, Kristie, that preceded her in death in 2019 and was like a daughter to her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith through her daughter, Angela Urbina (Donald); her sons, Kevin Robertson and Steven Robertson; her sister, Patricia Carstairs; and her beloved grandchildren: Cameron, Michaela, McKenzie, Kylee, Payton, Logan, Tessa, Hunter, Matthew, and Mark.
A service to celebrate Gwen’s beautiful life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Flagler County Baptist Church in Bunnell, Florida.
In every memory shared, every hymn sung, and every tear shed, Gwen’s presence will be felt—and her legacy of grace and goodness will continue to shine.
