Margherita M. Coppola's Obituary
Rita passed away peacefully on Feb 8th. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years,
Joseph Coppola. Rita had a long career as an executive secretary to the CEO of Pitney Bowes in
Stamford, Connecticut. After retiring together, Rita and Joe owned and operated a marina on
Lake St. Catherine in Vermont, and then settled in Palm Coast, Florida. Rita loved traveling,
hosting friends and family, Sunday football and all sports!
She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Rita had
such a generous heart, a beautiful spirit, and a deep faith. She always said she was blessed with amazing
family and friends and had a beautiful life.
A Memorial Mass for Rita will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in St. Augustine at
11:00 AM on Monday, March 7, 2022 . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Philip
Church in Norwalk, Connecticut at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 19, 2022.
Rita would have loved that any donations be made to charity instead of anything for her because
she had everything she ever needed.
