Maria Aniela Gabryszewski's Obituary
Maria Aniela Gabryszewski passed away peacefully at her home in Palm Coast, Florida on June 25, 2026. A long-time resident of Palm Coast and New Britain, Connecticut, she emigrated to the United States from Poland as an adult. She distinguished herself in a 30-year career as a skilled hardware manufacturing specialist at the Emhart Manufacturing Company (later known as Black and Decker Corporation) before retiring. She was also an accomplished baker, and will be remembered for her sharp wit and large heart.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 68 years, Zbigniew, daughter Joanna Gabryszewski, son Thaddeus Gabryszewski, grandchildren Joshua Burgio, Maria Burgio, Monika Mihaley, Zora Mihaley, John Mihaley, Helena Gabryszewski and Hamish Gabryszewski, and great granddaughter Alethia Burgio. Her oldest daughter, Mary Burgio, preceded her in passing nine years ago. She also leaves behind sisters Jadwiga Zengota and Urszula Perz of Hel, Poland, and cherished friends in Palm Coast and New Britain.
She will be honored in a mass at St. Mary, Mother of God Catholic Church in Bunnell, Florida on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 9:30am.
