Marlene Alderman of Palm Coast, FL, and formerly of Fayetteville, NY, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on September 12, 2021.
Marlene was born September 4 in Hartford, VT. She is preceded in death by her parents Richard P.Miinch and Elsie Carr and her brothers Ted Miinch, Michael Miinch and Gregory Miinch.
Her true joy was her family. She was a devoted mother, and “Mimi”.
Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her four daughters: Vicky (John) VanFradenburgh of NY; Kym (Daryl) Lewis of IN; Kelly (Jeff) Crabtree of IA, and Kerry Carnahan of NY; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and sister Clara Whitney of NH.
Truly beautiful inside as well as outside, Marlene was an amazing and independent woman and was so proud that her four daughters were as well. Marlene traveled throughout the US and was very involved with helping various ad agencies train their staff on accounting software. Marlene was associated with many civic/cultural organizations: Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, Onondaga Ski Club, Business and Professional Women, Syracuse Opera, Syracuse Symphony, Syracuse Ballet and Syracuse Stage. She was also an avid supporter of the Palm Coast Arts Foundation and the Yacht Club.
The Florida sun made her happy, happy, happy, and she enjoyed playing bridge in the comfort of her home.
Cremation services were provided by Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service, Bunnell, FL.
Due to the COVID pandemic, services will be private.
