Martha (Bare) Sedlock's Obituary
Martha (Bare) Sedlock (91) passed away peacefully on March 19, 2020 in Palm Coast, Florida.
She and her identical twin Mildred were born August 25, 1928 in Canfield, Ohio, the youngest of 12 children born to Elmer and Hattie Bare. Martha graduated from Canfield High School in 1946, attended Youngstown Business College, and became a secretary for Republic Steel Company in Youngstown. She was later employed as the secretary for Devon Grade School and also Warren G. Harding High School in Warren Ohio until her retirement. She was also a volunteer for Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. She was a long time resident of Ohio and moved to Palm Coast, FL in 2001. Once in Palm Coast, she volunteered for Flagler Hospital, Flagler Library, Wadsworth Elementary School, and Rymfire Elementary School.
She married Edward Sedlock in 1952 (divorced 1978) and had three daughters who survive: Patricia Kelley, Rigby, ID, Barbara Sedlock, Defiance, OH, and Kathy (Ken) Larson, Palm Coast, FL. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Martha (David) Rigby, Wade (Victoria) Kelley, Shawn (Cortney) Kelley, Diana Kelley, Rachel Larson, Ben Larson, and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was a sweet and loving Mom, Grandma, and Aunt who will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A Celebration of Life event will be held at a later date.
