Martin Edward Senn's Obituary
Martin Senn of Palm Coast FL died unexpectedly on April 1,2023, just a few short days after celebrating his 53rd birthday. Martin started his career in Public Protection in his early 20’s as a volunteer with Volusia County Fire Service. He decided to pursue a career in EMS, and went on to become a lead Paramedic for Evac Ambulance, an instructor for Daytona State College in the EMS program, and volunteered with Rima Ridge Fire Dept. At the time of his passing, Martin was employed as a Paramedic with Daytona International Speedway, and had recently been promoted to Lieutenant with Ameripro EMS in Jacksonville, FL. Martin was proud of his career, his children, and becoming a grandfather. He loved spending time with his family, going fishing, listening to country music, riding rollercoasters, and, of course, NASCAR. He had three children with his first wife, Andrea, before he met Allyson at Evac in 2006. They were married two years later, and welcomed his youngest child into the world later that year. Over the years, he made thousands of friends, and enjoyed making people laugh. He had an amazing work ethic, and would never judge anyone. Countless times his fellow coworkers would say how much of an inspiration he was, and how his kindness and compassion to others made an impact on the community in which he served. His death has left a huge hole in our hearts, and he will be greatly missed.
Martin was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Patterson; father, Paul Senn (USAF); and stepmother, Grace Senn. He is survived by his wife, Allyson; children: Jordan, Kayla, Alyssa, and Cody; grandson, William; siblings: Penny, David, and Don; and mother-in-law, Maureen, who thought of him as a son.
There will be a celebration of life on April 29th from 3-6pm at Riverbend Community Church, 2080 W. Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach FL 32174. There will be plenty of parking for those who would like to stop by, both on and off shift. The family would love to see you there.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Heritage Funeral and Cremation services in Bunnell, FL.
