Mary Ellen Gestrich's Obituary
Mary Ellen (Lee) Gestrich, 83, formerly of Level Green, PA, died December 14, 2024 in Palm Coast, FL, surrounded by family.
Mary grew up in Pittsburgh with her parents, Albert and Carmella Lee, brothers, Al and Frank Lee, and her sister, Helen Jackson. She met and married her husband Chuck in 1960. Mary proudly dedicated her life to caring for their family.
Mary was well-loved by many, including her dear friends in Pennsylvania. Over the years of raising her children, Mary developed life-long friendships with several women who were still a treasured part of her life.
Mary also shared her talent of crocheting with many friends and family members over the years. These gifts will forever be a reminder of her love.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Chuck, her sons, David (Tina), Steve (Kristen), daughter-in-law, Brandy, 6 granddaughters, and 3 great-granddaughters. She also left behind her beloved siblings and cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Chuckie.
Mary’s friends and family will gather to celebrate her life in Pennsylvania at a later date in 2025. Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service in Bunnell, FL is assisting the family with arrangements. www.HeritageFlagler.com
