Maury C. Barnlund's Obituary
Maury Charles Barnlund, age 56, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in Bunnell, Florida. He was born on April 9, 1963 in Iroquois, Illinois and grew up in Saint Augustine and California. He attended St. Joesph Academy and graduated from North Hollywood High School in 1981. Maury enjoyed fishing and to barbecue. He was also an avid Florida Gators fan and loved to watch football.
He is preceded in death by his son Dylan Barnlund and father Maurice Barnlund. He is survived by his mother Patricia Carr; daughter Annie Barnlund and her partner David Schalk; daughter-in-law Summer Byerly; grandsons Malakai Barnlund and Hudson Schalk; sisters Holly Anderson, Judith Anderson, Peggy Anderson, Chris Anderson; brothers Jack Anderson, Rob Anderson, David Anderson, Greg Barnlund, Jeff Barnlund; and his nieces and nephews.
Maury had a generous spirit and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Ocean Walk Shoppes, 250 N. Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32118. Parking is available at the parking garage. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Maury’s name may be made to your charity of choice.
