Maya Alyssa Eden's Obituary
With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Maya Alyssa Eden, age 33. She was born on Wednesday,
March 6, 1991 in Bronx, NY, to Blanca Colón and George Eden.
Maya enjoyed music, reading, cinema, and spending time with close friends and family. She had a
passion for writing. She was a fiercely loyal friend; a defender of the underdog. She was generous and
humble. Maya is our family’s treasure. She is loved beyond measure. She is irreplaceable. She will be
profoundly missed and never ever forgotten. Her dazzling smile indelibly etched in our memories.
Maya was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Maria & Benjamin Colón, and her uncles
Benny, Jimmie, and Ritchie Colón. They are undoubtedly reunited in glory.
Maya is survived by her mother Blanca, Titi Lexy, Uncle Todd, cousins Alyssa, Christopher, Jimmie,
Melinda, Salinas, Arrielle, Jibreal, and Korey; and her father George, Grandma Irma, Grandpa Tony, Aunt
Melinda, and cousins Eden and Easton.
A celebration of her life will be from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service, 4601 E.
Moody Blvd., Suite G-7, Bunnell, FL, 32110.
