Michael A Aquino's Obituary
Michael Anthony Aquino (69), “Mike”, passed away in the presence of loved ones at his home in Palm Coast, Florida on September 12th following a long illness.
A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Mike is survived by his wife, Janet, daughter, Tara (Anthony) Agnello, and daughter, Alecia Aquino (family). Mike loved and was deeply loved by his grandchildren, Adilyn (15), Nolan (10), and Adam (6). Mike is survived by his stepmother and stepsister, Diane Aquino and Pam Pasquantino. He leaves behind extended family on both sides of the marriage, who cherished him deeply. Mike is also survived by lifelong friends, considered family, Shawn and Judy Moses. Mike is pre-deceased by his loving parents, Anthony and Geraldine Aquino.
Mike spent the majority of his life in Olean, New York. Through his career with the City of Olean and numerous hobbies, Mike built countless friendships and close connections. He maintained these close relationships over many years. Over the last four years, Mike and Janet lived in Palm Coast, Florida. They spent time fishing, exploring new areas, and enjoying time with friends and family.
Mike loved his family more than anything. He regularly reminded them how much they meant to him. A devoted husband, Mike’s love for Janet was very evident. Mike shared his love of nature and fishing with his girls and grandkids, where his influence will be felt for years to come. He will be dearly missed.
Per Mike’s wishes, formal services will not be held. The family will hold multiple Celebration of Life ceremonies at later dates.
