Reading through these beautiful testimonies of Mike makes me smile. A fun loving, informed talk with the right amount of foolishness mixed in was the norm. Those moments will be missed. I pray that his family and friends feel comfort and peace.
Whether camping together or partying in his basement, Mike always provided the music. I will always remember the fun we had singing to his tunes around the campfire at Tyler Creek.
I knew Mike from the day his family moved into their home on Thomas in Berkley. Since I lived on Cummings, we lived relatively close together. I remember sneaking over to his house to play hockey in his backyard a couple times because my mom wouldn't let us play hockey. We basically grew up together through the Berkley school system. I've seen Mike often throughout the years because he and my cousin Mike Gove, were very close friends. I will remember Mike as a very nice fun-loving guy who always had a smile on his face. May you rest in peace my friend.
Mike and his family lived across the street from me on Thomas in Berkley he was a nice guy I will miss our chats on Facebook. May he Rest In Peace and love ❤️ with god. Becky Reagan Betancourt

Uncle mike would light up any room he was in and always made sure to greet you with the best hug you’d ever have. He was thoughtful and intentional with every conversation, always sending me links to healthy/natural living or politics because we both shared those same interests and would talk about it for hours together. I remember going to Florida with my grandparents and him making us all laugh all day, showing us all the best restaurants in Daytona, what to order and what not to order. One night in Florida he had Jonathan and I come up to his room and we started talking about vaccines and what no for hours and Aunt Sue just kept telling him let the kids go!! He was full of facts and could tell you anything you wanted to know in extensive detail. I will miss our conversations uncle mike but I know I’ll see you again. I love you very much and will remember and cherish all our memories and conversations together.
Uncle Mike was the funniest person to be around, his smile and laughter will be remembered by many. I’ll never forget going to florida for the first time with my grandparents & uncle Mike and aunt Sue, my brother and I played in the waves with uncle Mike for hours, laughing the whole time. I will greatly miss his hugs and his humor. Rest in peace uncle Mike, I love you ❤️
