Michael S. Senko's Obituary
Michael S. Senko, 80, peacefully passed away on July 10, 2018, surrounded by his loving daughters. Michael worked briefly for the New York Telephone Company where he met the love of his life, Beverly. He served in the Army of the United States where he received an Honorable Discharge. Michael graduated from Cornell University’s School of Industrial & Labor Relations. His passion for trains, led him to a 27 year career at the Long Island Rail Road as Engineer of Signal Design. Upon retiring to Palm Coast, Florida, he continued to pursue a consulting career in the railroad industry. Michael generously shared his time and talents with members of his community. He was very active in his parish and the Knights of Columbus where he served as Grand Knight 2013-2014. Michael enjoyed artistic endeavors with the Flagler County Art League where he specialized in color-pencil drawings. In his spare time, he also enjoyed building ship models, collecting electric trains, participating in trivia and challenging himself with puzzles.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beverly, of 56 years, his parents and sister. Michael was an extremely devoted husband, father and grandfather, and will be truly missed. He is survived by his two daughters; Cris-Ann Frisone (son-in-law, John) of Scottsdale Arizona, and daughter Beverly Senko of Ketton, England. He is also survived by his two cherished granddaughters; Caroline and Kristen.
A Memorial Mass celebrating Michael’s life will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church, 915 North Central Avenue, Flagler Beach, Florida.
