Miguel A Reyes' Obituary
Miguel A Reyes, 87, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2022 in Palm Coast, Florida. Miguel was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico on September 27th to father Angel and mother Nicomedes. Miguel proudly served in the US military for several years. He went on to work as a foreman of the Board of Education in New York City. He followed the love of his life all over the United States, and finally retired in 1994 in Palm Coast, Florida, all thanks to Eric Estrada. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his best friend/son Michael aka Mikey. They enjoyed simple outings to McDonald’s and Walmart where they made many friends along the way. He loved to be the main handyman of the house and building anything you would request. He was a simple man who loved to see his wife and children happy. He loved to share stories about his time in the military and his many family road trips. He enjoyed a nice cold Pepsi, chocolate and the occasional bean and cheese burrito from Taco Bell. He was a professional bodybuilder in his younger days. He enjoyed taking photos and listening to blues, jazz, and country. On a random day you would catch him singing Bésame mucho to his wife. He was a man of old school values and lived by the quote “happy wife, happy life”. He was preceded in death by the love of his life Raquel, his parents and siblings Ana, Elsie, Luis, Pedro, and Carmen. His beloved dog Lynus. Miguel is survived by his best friend Rocky the dog, bonus children Mary, Diana, Julie, and John. His children Rachel, Mickey, Michael, Christopher. His 14 grandchildren, and his 15 great grandchildren.
Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family.
