Mona I. Traulsen's Obituary
Mona Ingrid Traulsen, 54, of Palm Coast, Florida fell asleep in death on March 9, 2019. She was born on January 23, 1965 in Bristol, Connecticut and lived in Southington until 2002 when she moved to Palm Coast, Florida with her family. She leaves behind her two sons, Ari A. Traulsen and Corben J. Traulsen. Mona was also a mother to Julian J. Risby and Trasen E. Risby (Tracy Risby). Her parents Erik and Ingrid Traulsen, Siblings Ann Traulsen, Steven (Patricia) Traulsen and Bridget (George) Kastroulis, niece Rebecca Traulsen, Nephews Richard (Julia) Traulsen, Mark Traulsen, David (Sarah) Traulsen, Lukas Kastroulis and Leander Kastroulis will miss her greatly. In addition, Mona leaves her Grandmother in denmark and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and dear friends. Her family greatly appreciates the care of her doctors, Dr. zafar latif and dr. james Kendrick and all the nurses and support staff at Halifax hospital oncology. Mona worked for Hartford Hospital in the Respiratory Therapy Department as a Manager in Connecticut and as a Real Estate agent with Century 21 (formerly Realty 100 Plus) in Palm Coast. Her passion was her voluntary full-time ministry in educating people in the Bible’s Message. While going through treatment, she learned Haitian-Creole and was active with the Haitian Creole congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Palm Coast, Florida. Memorial Services will be at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s witnesses, 1970 Old Kings Road, Palm Coast Florida Building B at 5pm on Sunday March 24, 2019.
