Neil E Webner's Obituary
Neil Eugene Webner, age 82, of Palm Coast passed away
Sunday, July 5, after an unexpected illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Anna (Ann) Webner of Orrville, Ohio, granddaughter Lindsey of Oregon, Ohio, and brother-in-law Robert. Surviving is his wife of almost 60 years, Donna, as well as his brother Terry and wife Barbara of
Plymouth, Michigan, and brother-in-law David of Highland Heights, Ohio; children Mark and wife Denise (Giorgi) Webner of Oregon; Eric and wife Kathryn (Parmer) Webner of Ocoee, Florida; Jill and husband Fred Campbell of St. Augustine,
Florida; grandchildren Alyssa, Jessica, Ryan and wife Sarah
(Gammon), Aaron, Anna, Grace, and great-grandchild Logan.
Neil grew up in Orville, Ohio, graduating in 1956. Afterwards, he earned a degree in finance from the University of Toledo, during which time he met Donna Dennis. They married in 1960 and raised their family in Columbus Ohio. Neil was the Assistant to the Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives, then served as the Director of the Ohio Bureau of Workers
Compensation. After retirement, he enjoyed many activities, including tennis, winning a USTA state championship as a member of the Sun City Carolina Lakes tennis team. He also had a great interest in genealogy, writing several books and connecting several different clans of the Webner family. He was a devout Christian, teaching Sunday school, and he loved his family like no other. He leaves behind many dear friends as well.
A Memorial Service for Family and Friends will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service, 4601 E Moody Blvd G-7, Bunnell, FL 32110. 386437-6566.
