Nicole Lecoin's Obituary
With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Nicole Lecoin Preston, 83. She was born on September 8th, 1942, in Port of Prince Haiti, to the late Eva Celestine and Ludivac Preston.
Nicole lost her mother at a very young age, so she was raised by her Auntie’s along with her many cousins who became more like siblings, she became the pioneer of our family, the first to arrive in America in 1966, tasked with learning a new language and culture.
She possessed the strengths and will of our great ancestors, chosen and entrusted to pave the way for the family she left behind in Haiti which she quickly accomplished, providing a better life for cousins, aunt, uncle and their children to come all while beginning her own family and having 3 sons.
Nicole was preceded in death by son Fritz Jr. and husband Fritz Senior.
She is survived by sons Francis and Newton, cousins Irma, Yanick, Bertha, Jesse, Louis, Alphonse Jr, Frederick, Nadine, Marjorie and their children.
A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00AM Saturday, January 3rd at Saint Stephens Catholic Church in Bunnell, Florida.
Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements.
