Norma Kristine Wilson
Norma Kristine Wilson of Port Orange, FL was born on March 19, 1949 in Stoneham, MA to the late Johannes Asgeirsson and Kathryn Asgeirsson nee Johnson. She passed away peacefully at her home on August 12, 2013 at the age of 64 years.
Norma was a long distance tour bus driver by trade, and she relocated to Florida in 2003 from Massachusetts. She enjoyed traveling to Alaska, cross country traveling in her Airstream Trailer, going to yard sales with her good friend Geri Pompa, and camping with her nieces Connie Ferreria and Lisa Gorman.
In addition to her parents, Norma is preceded in death by her beloved German Shepherd Thor.
She is survived by her loving husband Mark of 44 years, daughters; Kristin Mackenzie of Saugus, MA, and Jennifer Strohm and husband Stephen of Port Orange, FL, and her brothers; Stephen Asgeirsson of Andover, MA, Eric Asgeirsson of Columbus, OH, and Gary Asgeirsson of Bellingham, WA. Norma is also survived by her sisters; JoAnne Narud of Scottsdale, AZ, and Maryellen Baker and husband Greg of Westerville, OH, grandchildren; Alison and Julia Mackenzie, and Mackenzie and Madison Strohm, and her beloved German Shepherd Thora.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Norma’s name to your local humane society.
