Patricia “Pat” Jane Cook
Patricia “Pat” Jane Cook, formerly Anderson, nee Silva, was born July 4, 1932 in Boston, MA to the late Emmanuel Silva and Elsie Silva nee Robinson; she was the sixth of eight children. She passed away after a long illness on Saturday, May 9 2015, at Florida Hospital Flagler in Palm Coast, FL at the age of 82 years.
She took pride in graduating at the age of 16 years from the Jeremiah E. Burke High School in Boston, MA, which at that time, was rated equivalent to a college sophomore. Pat was the proud mother of five children.
After Pat's children 'left the nest' in Hanover, MA, which she supported on a waitress' income, she relocated to Lebanon, NH. She married Richard Cook Sr. in 1979. Their hard work enabled them to retire to Palm Coast, FL in 1986.
In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded in death by a son Stephen Anderson, and a daughter Joyce Shea.
She is survived by her husband Richard M. Cook, Sr. of Palm Coast, FL. her sons: Skip Anderson, and Mark Anderson, and one daughter, Lauren Hughes and husband Joseph Mason. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A private celebration of Pat's life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the charity of your choice in Pat’s name.
