Patricia "Patty" Ellison's Obituary
With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Ann "Patty" Ellison, 79, of Daytona Beach, FL, who entered Glory on January 31, 2025, in Palm Coast, FL. While our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice knowing that Patty is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
Patty was born on August 31, 1945, in Altmar, NY, to the late Louis and Laura Anson. She lived a life filled with love, faith, and devotion to both her family and her church. An avid tennis player, Patty found joy on the court, just as she did in creating beautiful beaded jewelry and sharing laughter over weekly card games with friends. Her greatest passion, however, was studying God's Word through Bible Study Fellowship, both locally and internationally. Her faith was unshakable, a guiding light to those blessed to know her.
Patty’s love for her family was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She stood firm in her faith and was a living example of grace, kindness, and devotion. Her warmth and wisdom will be dearly missed but forever remembered.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ronald Ellison; her children, Ronald Shane Ellison (Michele) and Stephanie Ellison; her cherished grandchildren, Ryan (Tracey), Bailee (Matt), Jordyn (Josh), Trenton, Carlye (Sully), Travis, and Lance; and her adored great-grandchildren, Kace, Kash, Leila Mae, Mason, Jade. Patty also leaves behind her dear sister, Lindy Armstrong, along with a host of extended family members and treasured friends who will continue to honor her memory.
A celebration of Patty’s beautiful life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Christ Church Port Orange, 2421 Tomoka Farms Rd. Port Orange, FL 32128, with Pastor Jesse Jarvis officiating. Following the service, Patty will be laid to rest at Daytona Memorial Park, 1428 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.
Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to serve the Ellison family during this time.
Patty’s legacy of faith, love, and unwavering devotion to her family will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. Though she has left our sight, her spirit remains ever present, guiding us with the love and wisdom she so selflessly shared.
In lieu of Flowers, the family request donations be sent in Patty's honor to Christ Church Port Orange, P.O. Box 290848, Port Orange, Fl 32128.
