Patricia C. Parcell's Obituary
Patricia Carol Parcell, 76, died the 22nd of December 2018 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast FL. Ms. Parcell was born on the 11th of October 1942 in Yonkers, NY to Roland and Jacqueline Coffey. She raised five children, then earned her Associates Degree from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA in 1987. She enjoyed a rewarding career as an Occupational Therapist in Des Moines, IA and in the Charleston, SC area until her retirement in 1997. Patricia spent her lifetime developing an expertise at crafts; from macramé to crochet to pottery, there was not a craft she did not master.  Patricia loved animals and made many cats and dogs a part of her family throughout her lifetime. She was wholly dedicated to the cause of capturing and releasing feral cats for the spay and neuter program on Edisto Island.
Ms. Parcell is survived by her children Michelle Jacobson of Saint Augustine, FL, Charles (Helder) Parcell of Orlando, FL, William (Debbi) Parcell of Hollister, CA, Joseph (Maria) Parcell of Garden Grove, CA, and Peter (Diana) Parcell of Huntington Beach CA. She is also survived by her brother, John Coffey, Michael (Brenda) Coffey and Jacqueline (Steve) Kelley, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Life is not a journey to the grave
with the intention of arriving safely
