Patrick Joseph Flebotte's Obituary
Patrick Joseph Flebotte, known to friends and family as "P.J., Pat, Six, IrishSix, Sarg, Ireland" was born on June 1, 1972, in Springfield, MA. He passed away on November 29, 2024 at 9:28pm with his wife by his side.
Patrick grew up in Agawam & Springfield, MA where he attended Agawam High School. He was involved in sports. He went on to earn a degree in Culinary Arts. In 1996, his family moved to Palm Coast, FL where his spent the rest of his life.
Patrick had many careers; Restaurant Manager, Fugitive Recovery Agent, Underground Utility Foreman, Team Lead in Operation Southern Infidel. Of all his different careers, he enjoyed underground utility work the most- and particularly loved the company, Kehle Plumbing, he worked for over the last several years of his life. They were more than just a company- he looked at them as family. He talked often how he missed his work due to his declining health.
Patrick is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Christina (Rice) Flebotte and his 3 children, Dominic Fattini, Patrick X. Flebotte, and Leah Flebotte. He was a devoted husband, father, and son. He is also survived by his father, Victor G. Flebotte. He is predeceased by his mother, Patricia A. (Griffin) Flebotte.
Patrick had a passion for the outdoors/ nature and often spent his time outside and at Princess Place Preserve. For the last 10+ years he had been battling cancer, heart issues and many other health issues. When he was not at doctors or having surgeries he spent time with his family as they were his priority.
Patrick always told it like it is. He was open and honest, never shy to share his honest opinion. He never held back on what he had to say. He was loyal and had a heart of gold. He was a true leader and was loved dearly by all those who knew him. His friends and family remember him for being one of a kind- he truly touched everyone who knew him. No one will ever be able to come close. Anecdotes from loved ones capture his love for life and the positive impact he had on those around him.
Per Patrick’s wishes, he did not wish to have a public memorial service, just a private send off at his favorite place. Family will hold a private farewell at Princess Place Preserve to honor his wishes. His memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the joy to meet and know him.
IRISH BLESSINGS:
“May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.”
"Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us every day,
unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.”
"Death leaves a heartache
no one can heal;
Love leaves a memory
no one can steal.”
