Pat...We met during a very difficult time of life for both of us, and although that can often times ruin the chance of any lasting relationship between two people- it wound up making us friends.We didn't always see eye to eye on things but you were always there.When I needed an older person to talk to, to ask advice from, to help understand what was going on around me- you were right there to tell me what I needed to hear...whether I liked it or not.
You stood up for me when I was right, and definitely let me know when I was wrong...and I appreciate that more than I could ever put into words.Rest in peace, Pat...you will be missed.
