Pauline M Torres' Obituary
Pauline Mary Rotunda Torres, 89, passed away February 26th, 2021 in Palm Coast, Florida. Pauline was born 9-13-1931 in Colchester, Vermont, the daughter of the late Joseph Rotunda Senior and Glenna Layfayette Rotunda. Pauline was a graduate of the 1949 class of Jericho High School in Jericho Center, Vermont. She was one of 7 graduates in her class. Pauline was known for her hard work and determination in all that she did. She loved cooking, gardening and was a good friend to many. Pauline retired from IBM where she worked for 25 years. Late in life she moved to Deland, Florida where she resided for the next 22 years. Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Joseph Rotunda, Junior of Jericho, Vermont (Marilyn), and Betty Rotunda Rhye of Newport (Ronald). She is survived by her brother Thomas D. Rotunda of Florida (Barbara), her daughter Susan M. Gleason, Williston, Vt (Daniel), her grandaughter , Jennifer L. Hancock (Kenneth) ,Merrimack, NH, Her grandson Jason J. White, Saint Albans, VT, and her great grandchildren Sophia Hancock and William Hancock of Merrimack, NH. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and multiple friends in Florida and Vermont. Interment of her ashes will take place this spring in New Mount Calvary Cemetery, Burlington, Vermont. According to her wishes there will be no funeral. A gathering to remember her and share memories of Pauline's life will be held outside this summer for family and friends.
