Pearl Kopcha Hodkoski
Our precious Pearl was called home to our Lord on Thursday, August 30, 2012. She was born on August 14, 1928, in Terryville, Connecticut to the late Matthew and Irene (Ladna) Kopcha and was a Terryville resident for most of her life.
In 2005, Pearl, along with her husband Casmir, moved from Connecticut to Florida. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Epiphany in Port Orange, FL. She enjoyed baking, quilting, bowling, playing cards, and walking the beach. Spending time with her family was one of her greatest pleasures.
Pearl was preceded in death by her daughter Tina, her parents, four brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by Casmir, her loving husband of almost 60 years; her daughters: Dale Bush and her husband Dave, Sharon Wrisley, and Lisa Hodkoski, all of Los Angeles, CA, Donna Agostinelli and her husband Robert of Cape Coral, FL; her son: Thomas Hodkoski and his wife Virginia of Port Orange, FL; her beloved grandchildren: Cas, Rachel, and Kyle Hodkoski, and Eric and Tina Agostinelli; and her brother: Louis Kopcha of Farmington, CT.
Memorial Donations may be made in memory of Pearl to the Alzheimer’s Association, 378 Center Pointe Circle, #1280, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, or to the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Hematology/Oncology Dept., 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106, in memory of her daughter Tina Hodkoski.
All services are under the direction of Heritage Cremation and Memorial Chapel, Port Orange, FL.
