Philip Henry McCluskey Jr's Obituary
Philip McCluskey passed away June 28,2022 in at Advent Health in Palm Coast Florida. He was 83. Phil was born in Ouray, Colorado on December 8,1938 to the late Phil and Flora McCluskey.
Phil graduated in Silverton, Colorado and went to college. He helped his parents in their restaurant in Silverton, where he met the love of his life, Wanda. Phil and Wanda moved to Leadville, Colorado in 1965 where their family grew and they raised their four children.
Philip worked at Climax Mine as a warehouse/purchasing supervisor. He was an avid gardener and loved his greenhouse where he grew his orchids. In 1983, Phil retired and moved to Grand Junction, Colorado.
Phil leaves a legacy of 4 children, Sharon (Mike) Cooper, Bo McCluskey, Pam McCluskey, Robin (George Anderson) McCluskey; his sister, Brenda Ward; 6 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; and family friend, Wayne Dessert.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda and parents, Phil and Flora McCluskey
