Randy Elwood Stacy's Obituary
Randy Elwood Stacy, born on December 21, 1953, in Booneville, MS, passed away on
Good Friday, March 29, 2024, in Palm Coast, FL. He was 70 years old. Randy was a
devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, and beloved brother and uncle.
Randy graduated from Messick High School in Memphis, TN before joining Cam
Dynamics, where he spent years following his first career selling after-market parts on
the Drag Racing circuit. Years later, he went on to his second career, furthering his
education at the University of Tennessee Martin and Memphis Theological Seminary.
He served as a Minister in the United Methodist Church from 1994 to 2022.
One of only a few to survive a rare strain of Leukemia in 1998, Randy lived another 26
blessed years, sharing the word of Christ through his ministry. He will be deeply missed
by family and church members alike.
A Celebration of Life honoring Randy will take place at a future date in his home area of
Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to Lakeshore
United Methodist Church Camp in Eva, TN.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory live on through the lives he touched.
