Rex A. Coble's Obituary
Rex A. Coble, 66, passed away at his home in Palm Coast, FL on September 4, 2018. Rex moved from Loami, IL to Fredericksburg, VA prior to his retirement move to Palm Coast, FL. Dedicated husband and father, the priority of his life was being the rock and foundation for his wife and son. First one to provide in a time of need, no matter how large or small there wasn’t a challenge he wouldn’t take head on and accomplish, in doing so better than done before. He was an emergency management official for over 40 years of his life, covering Local level to the Federal level. Avid animal lover, nothing more than his love for their greyhounds. Not to forget his dedication to God’s church no matter where he lived.
He was preceded in death by his father J. Porter Coble, his mother Alyce V. Grills Coble, his brother's James and J. Coble.
Rex is survived by his wife, of 45 years, Linda, and his son Jeff, wife Alissa, brother Franklin A. Coble and nephew Jayson A. Coble. Grandchildren Samantha, Anthony and Nadav. Niece, nephew and cousins.
A memorial service will take place at Mala Compra Beach at 4pm on Friday, September 7th, 2018. For donations and flower or food replacement we would like to donate to an Alzheimer’s group in Rex’s name after we have time to research the appropriate one that meets our needs, if your interested in donating please PayPal your donation to [email protected].
Rex will be loved and missed by all but will live on through all of his selfless acts and memories he blessed us with."
