Richard Paul Maloney, 53, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2024, in Palm Coast, Florida. In his passing, Richard is lovingly reunited with his predeceased family members: his mother, Joy Maloney Churchman; father, Thomas P. Maloney; brothers, Robert and Tim Maloney; grandmother, Jane R. Edwards; and grandfather, Dr. R.L. Edwards.
Richard, affectionately known as Ricky to those closest to him, leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his devoted wife, Cynthia Maloney, whose unwavering support and companionship were the cornerstone of his life. Richard is also survived by his brother, Troy D. Maloney (Ida), and sister, Trisha DeSimone (Anthony), whose bonds of sibling love were a source of great joy and strength. His beloved aunt, Janie Satterwhite Crawford, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, will miss him deeply and hold his memory close to their hearts.
Ricky's passions in life were simple yet profound. He found peace and happiness at the beach, where he loved to surf, embracing the freedom and thrill of the waves. His affection for dogs showcased his gentle and compassionate nature, always finding joy in their loyal company. Professionally, Ricky was an exceptional blackjack dealer in Kansas City, MO, where his skill and charisma left a lasting impression on colleagues and patrons alike.
