Richard Eugene Stuckey's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Eugene Stuckey, at the age of 84. Richard died peacefully surrounded by his family on July 10th, 2024. Richard Stuckey was born on March 6th 1940 in St. Augustine, Florida to Louie Stuckey and Lillian Nelson. He grew up and lived in Flagler County his entire life.
He graduated from Bunnell (FL) High School in 1958. He went on to proudly serve in the United States Army. Later, he moved to Guyana, South America to build a major highway. Upon his return, he obtained an Associates Degree in pre-engineering from Daytona State College. He was the owner and operator of A&S Water Engineering providing well drilling and water conditioning services to Flagler County and the surrounding areas for decades.
Through a long battle of dementia, he was lovingly cared for by his devoted wife, Theresa. He is also survived by his two daughters, Maura Stuckey and Christina Stuckey, his brother Thomas Stuckey and sister Theresa Dillard. He was predeceased by his son Kenny Stuckey and brother Harry Stuckey. He will be missed dearly by family and friends across the country.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 18th at 2pm at Hammock Community Church located at 5299 N. Ocean Shore Blvd, Palm Coast, FL 32137.
