Richard Trowbridge's Obituary
Richard “Rick” Trowbridge, 56, of Palm Coast, passed away on March 22, 2026. Rick was born in Miami, Florida on August 22, 1969, and was the youngest of four siblings. Rick grew up with a love of sports and the outdoors. He started playing golf at age 3 and continued to excel at it throughout his lifetime. During college, he played baseball at Columbus State University. In 1993, Rick moved to Palm Coast, Florida to be closer to family. There, he owned his own business, became a member of the Elks Lodge and served as their treasurer. Rick spent weekends golfing with friends and cheering on Florida State University and all Miami teams. He loved spending time with his family, especially in the pool and at the beach. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and great-uncle, whose fun spirit and clever sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob” Trowbridge and Trudy Trowbridge.
He is survived by his siblings, Kenneth (Lucy) Trowbridge, Rose Trowbridge, and Cheryl (Curt) Schoenfeldt; nieces and nephew, Kelly (Matt) Russell, Kristy (Ryan) Fishel, Roberto Ferro, Taylor Ferro, and Stephanie Trowbridge; and great-nieces and nephews, Micah, Adeline, Zoe, Kali, and Jack.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 18th, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Palm Coast. Visitation will be at 10:30am with Mass at 11am, followed by a ceremony and lunch at the Palm Coast Elks Lodge.
