Rita F. Fucello
Rita F. Fucello, of Port Orange, FL was born on July 27, 1936 in Queens, NY to the late Edward and Catherine Hill nee Scheuring. She passed away on December 31, 2012 at her residence at the age of 76 years.
She worked as a Bank Teller, and was a member of the Catholic Church of the Epiphany, Port Orange, FL. She was also involved with the Epiphany Health Center, feeding the Homeless, and volunteering with the Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler. She enjoyed ceramics and going to the Internet Cafes. She also volunteered at the Halifax Humane Society. She lived life to the fullest.
Rita is survived by her daughter, Linda A. Cyrgalis of Ridgewood, NY. Step-daughter, Linda Viola and husband Michael of Palm Coast, FL. Step-sons, Eugene MacDonald and wife Margaret, and Wayne MacDonald, both of Queens, NY, and Michael Fucello and wife Barbara of Valley Stream, NY. Sister, Dolores Viola of Port Orange, FL. Five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Fucello.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2012 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette St., Port Orange, FL. Burial will follow the Mass at the Woodland Cemetery, Port Orange, FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Rita to the Halifax Humane Society, 2364 LPGA Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32124.
All services are under the direction of Heritage Funeral & Cremation Service, Port Orange, FL.
