Robert George Fouquet, 74, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Rochester, New York, on November 12, 1950, to Robert and Mary (Swetz) Fouquet, Bob was known for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and deep love for his family. He grew up in Spencerport and attended Spencerport Central School.
After working a variety of jobs in his early adulthood, Bob achieved a lifelong dream at age 30—he became a professional truck driver. He took great pride in a career that spanned decades, spending countless miles on the road and forging friendships across state lines. His dedication and reliability were admired by all who worked with him.
On March 21, 1970, Bob married his high school sweetheart, Kathryn (Ganz) Fouquet, in Rochester, NY. They shared 55 wonderful years together, raising six children and creating a home built on love, laughter, and lasting values.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn; his children: Michael (Evelyn), Aaron (Kellie), Robin (James), Carl, Kate, and Rob; and 15 grandchildren who lovingly called him “Grandpa.” He is also survived by his extended family of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard.
Bob found joy in life’s simplest pleasures—fishing on a quiet morning, camping trips with family, perfecting his golf swing, watching NASCAR, and cheering on his favorite NHL teams. He also had a deep appreciation for muscle cars and could talk for hours about engines and horsepower. Whether it was sitting around a campfire or tinkering in the garage, Bob was at home when he was surrounded by the people and pastimes he loved.
Above all, he was a family man—reliable, kind, and always willing to lend a hand or share a story. His legacy of love, integrity, and hard work lives on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Parkview Church, 5435 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32137.
