Robert A. Hayes' Obituary
Robert A. Hayes, 80, passed away at home on July 28, 2017 after a long time in the hospitals. He has been retired since 1982. Robert had done crane operator at construction sites. Over the road truck driver hauling drywall, and cars. He loved building things. He was an Army Veteran of Korean War, semi pro football player, stock car driver on the dirt tracks of NY. Hobbies were fishing, gardening, and he. loved playing with the kids
He was preceded in death by his mother and father,Myrtle and Clarence Hayes, daughter, Charlene and 2 brothers Bill and James and sister Donna.
Robert is survived by his wife Connie (Miller) of 45 years, sons, Clifford, Richard, and Robert. Daughters, Bonnie (Gregg) Moore, Connie Jo Andrews, Deborah (Hayes) Gorhan. Has 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. One brother, Reverend David Hayes, two sisters, Alda Smith and MaryEllen Bedford, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Stuart F. Meyers Hospice Center in the garden on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2 pm. Officiated by Reverend. David Hayes. Food and drinks will be offered after at the Hayes's at 1829 Beech Blvd, Bunnell, FL.
