Robert “Jukebox Bob” Rodrigo was born on January 9, 1950 in New York, NY to the late Ernesto and Carmen N. Rodrigo nee Landron. He passed away on October 4, 2012 in Palm Coast, FL at the age of 62 years, 8 months, and 26 days.
Robert retired in 1982 from J&R Vending in New York. He moved to Florida in 1995 from New York. Robert was a member of the Palm Coast Seventh-day Adventist Church. While in New York, Robert was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the VFW. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and tell jokes. He never knew a stranger, he made everyone feel welcome. Robert enjoyed music, he loved to sing and play his guitar. He loved dabbling in electronics and jukeboxes. Robert also had a special place in his heart for animals, he has saved countless animals from being euthanized by offering to love and care for them.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brother Felix and his sisters Lillian, Maria, and Helena.
He is survived by his loving wife Loretta of 40 years, sons John-Paul Rodrigo and wife Elizabeth of FL and Alfredo Santos and wife Millie of TX, daughters Teresa Rodrigo of FL and Lydia Santos and husband Pedro of FL, brothers, Edwin Rodrigo and wife Anna of FL and Ernesto Rodrigo Jr. of NY, sisters, Margaret Rodrigo of NY, Lucy Figuroa of NY, Antonia Kennedy and husband Douglas of MI, and Gloria Martinez of FL, fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
All arrangements are under the care and direction of Heritage Cremation and Memorial Chapel, Port Orange, FL
