Rogerio "Gerio" E. Ferreira's Obituary
Rogerio (Gerio) E Ferreira, 83, born 12/2/1940 in Cativelos, Portugal, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife, children and some grandchildren on 11/7/2024 at Stuart F Meyer Hospice in Palm Coast, FL.
Rogerio is proceeded by both his parents (Luis and Lurdes) and his 6 siblings (4 brothers and 2 sisters).
Rogerio is survived by his wife Beatriz, his daughter Anne, his son Nelson (Debra) Ferreira. His six grandchildren Dyllan, Kiara (Alex), Nelson, Jr, Arthur, Landyn, and Noella along with his two great grandchildren Declan and Luna. He also leaves behind an extended family along with many friends located worldwide.
He served in the Portuguese Navy, was a hardworking, humble man, he enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his family, and was very proud of his Portuguese heritage.
He was an active member of his community in both Danbury, CT and Palm Coast, FL. He also served as a usher at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
A Memorial Mass in his honor will be celebrated at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church at 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, Florida on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 at 1:00pm. There will be a visitation to pay respects to the family starting at 12pm (noon) to 1pm, before the mass.
