Ronald M. Rabey's Obituary
Ronald (Joe) Merle Rabey, age 82, resided in Edgewater, FL. Passed away peacefully on February 3, 2020, at AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL.
He was born March 11, 1937 in Buffalo NY. Joined the Navy in 1955 and retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer in 1981. He is a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion. He graduated with a Master's Degree in Library Sciences Summa Cum Laude from State University of New York at Buffalo. He loved "RVing" with his wife, Paula and visited 49 states. He was an avid reader, loved solving crossword puzzles and fishing. He was a Jack of all Trades, Master of None. He loved taking things apart and putting them back together.
He is survived by his wife Paula Beaston-Rabey, his siblings Christine (James) O'Dea, Arthur (Mary) Landel, and Kaye Ann (Gerald) Brenon. His daughters, Kathleen (Henry) Mitchell, Michele (Robert) Flach, and Denise (Edmund) Kaiser. Grandchildren, Nicholas Kaiser, Damien Mitchell and Alesha Mitchell. Great Grandchildren, Elliana Mitchell, Everly Mitchell, Jackson Kaiser, and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Nancy Rabey-Keller, his Father C. Merle Rabey, his Mother, Isabelle Rabey, and Step Mother Anna L. Rabey.

His wishes are to have a burial at sea through the United States Navy Mortuary Affairs Burial at Sea Program.
