Rose Marie Meyers' Obituary
With extremely heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Rose Marie Meyers of Palm Coast, Florida on March 25, 2026. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey on October 21, 1943 and a graduate of West Side High School in Newark, New Jersey in June of 1961, Rose was a hard-working, strong-willed woman with unrelenting and unconditional love and devotion to her family. In addition to working full-time, while being a loyal and dedicated wife and mother, Rose had cared for several loved ones who were terminally ill. She ensured that their final days were as comfortable and peaceful as could be.
Rose is preceded in death to father John Charles Niglio, mother Helen Niglio, brother Frank Niglio, and sadly very recently (March 4, 2026) to her beloved husband of over 62 years, Edward Arnold Meyers, Sr. She is survived by her sister Joyce Mulvihill and her two sons, Edward Arnold Meyers, Jr. and Paul John Meyers, along with their wives, Eileen Miller Meyers and Christel Donath Meyers. She was very grateful to have had six beautiful grandchildren: Carissa, Briana, AJ, Evan, Kira and Connor and also six great-grandchildren: Lilliana, Russell, Mason, Autumn, Everett and Anthony.
She was passionate about music and thoroughly enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, doing puzzles and being around her family. She always loved to tell stories of the past. It is now our time to love and honor her, by sharing memories of her, with lots of love and laughs. Rose will be forever missed, but we are grateful to her for enriching and enlightening our lives and most of all, for being so loving and supportive throughout her entire life.
As per her wish, there will be no public memorial service, but rather a very intimate spreading of her ashes at sea off the coast of Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
