Rosemarie Ort
Rosemarie Ort moved forward on her journey January 14, 2015. A loving Mother whom always gave everything she had without question did so on her terms. A strong person that never wavered in her unbelievable life of providing joy and happiness to all those she touched. Born on December 11, 1927 in Gloversville, NY to Pasquale and Mary Salivone, and resided at 46 Temple Street until moving to the Daytona Beach, FL area with her husband, Bill Ort, of 44 years.
Best known for her artistic abilities and crafty touches, she owned and operated Ceramics By Rosemarie for over 30 years. She painted delicate and intricate ceramics for places such as Disney World and area restaurants. Rosie as so may called her, passed her love to her family and made sure in her way, they all understood.
She was preceded in death by Bill Ort, who preceded her in passing in 1995.
Survivors are, Eric and Julie Ort (Son, Portland, OR), Billy and Donna Ort (Son, Ormond Beach, FL) Linda and Ernesto Chavez (daughter, Atlanta GA). Grandchildren include Billy Ort, Bradley Ort, JoLee Trubiano and Joy Ann Maloney.
She touched everyone who knew her and she always said, "Thank you ever so much…"
