Royce Walter Beach, 81, passed away on June 11th, 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born in Cordele, GA on October 13, 1939. Walt attended Norman Park Junior College, Valdosta State, and Georgia State. He got married on Octobe Read Obituary

Walt was such an exceptionally faithful man to Berean Baptist Church for all the years he lived in Fayetteville. And Georgia was by his side ministering to ladies in such a profound way. Both were true servants in their own rite. Sister Georgia may God comfort your heart in the loss of your best friend. Pastor Sean
So many memories to share with the Beaches. My husband and I were brand new Christians in a brand new church and we had 2 small children and we always referred to Walt and Georgia as Mr. and Mrs. Beach, even to this Day! Our 2 kids, loved the Beaches and would sit with them in evening church many times. My husband and Mr, Beach we’re both Deacons and sometimes we would go out for ice cream after evening church, and if Mr. Beach had lock up, our son David would follow him all around and help with locking up the church, checking all the doors that needed shut, locking all the inside doors, etc. One evening, as told to me by Mrs. Beach, she and Mr. Beach were walking to their car and someone called out to them asking them, “Where are your kids? They got a real kick out of that.
We also shared cleaning the church together on a Saturday morning a month. Something like that, it was in a rotational basis and our church was still small but growing, and we still needed members to serve the Lord in this way to keep the premises tidy. After we were finished cleaning and were cleaned up ourselves, we then would go out to breakfast together as a treat.
Oh we love the Beaches and they love us. The both had a big influence on our Spiritual growth since we were very young Christians and with our kids spiritual growth also.
We were heartbroken when they moved to North Carolina, but they had to as they wanted a family of their own so very much and the adoption laws or something, not quite sure were better and Walt was able to get another good job in the same capacity and soon after their move, they had sweet baby Elisabeth in their arms and their family was complete, or so they thought, but the Lord several years later blessed them with a baby boy, Jonathan. Elisabeth became a big sister and had a little tiny, baby brother.
There are so many other shared memories that I cannot write them all down now though.
I can just say to Georgia, Elisabeth and Jonathan that our hearts 💕 are with yours and will miss Walt too. It was such a blessing to chat with him over the phone these past few years. Bless you all. We love you.
Much love,
Gary and Joyce
