Ruth M Alvarez-Anzola's Obituary
Ruth Marie Anzola, age 41, went home to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family on July 11th, 2022. Ruth was born in 1980 in Puerto Rico. Her parents Elizabeth and Pedro Alvarez raised her in a loving family, providing her an amazing life with everything she desired and a love for Jesus. They moved to South Florida where Ruth grew up as a young adult she relocated to the Ormond Beach area with her husband Felix where they raised their son, Markus. Prior to her career in the manufacturing industry as a Human Resource Manager, Ruth earned many degrees. She achieved dual Master Degrees and was Valedictorian twice. She was on the board for the Volusia Flagler Society of Human Resource Management. When she was not spending time with her family and friends, she loved sports like baseball, bowling and collegiate football. Her greatest passion was supporting her husband as he coached high school baseball and cheering for her son as he bowled and played baseball. She was very devoted to Parkview Christian Church where her family attended. Giving back to the community was significant
to Ruth's heart. She did this through donations and by serving some of her time through church and work.
To know Ruth was to love her as she made a beautiful legacy, touching the lives of everyone that crossed her path. Ruth was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mercedes Alvarez. She is survived by her parents, Elizabeth and Pedro Alvarez; husband, Felix Anzola; son, Markus Anzola; aunt and uncle, Lucy and Masa Sato; her cousins, David, Nathaniel, Selmarie, Marlene; her aunt, Sandra Alvarez; and cousin Yovi.
