With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Dr. Sally Jeanne Byrd, 66, of Flagler Beach, who passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2024.
Sally knew no strangers. She loved God, nature, and found beauty in everything. Her profound faith and connection to God were evident in every aspect of her life. She was extremely independent, always searching for the next person she could pray over, offer her advice, or share her health products with. Known globally as a Doctor of Nutrition, Sally traveled the world and touched countless lives with her fearless and non-judgmental spirit.
Her love of God flowed through her into others, bringing light and hope wherever she went. She loved her family deeply and always placed others first, embodying the true spirit of selflessness. Sally recharged her spirit through grounding her body and soul with walks on the beach, collecting shells and watching the sun rise. Sally enjoyed the time she assisted with releasing sea turtles into the ocean. Her life and legacy were marked by an unwavering dedication to leaving a clean and natural carbon foot plan on earth. She made each of them feel uniquely understood and cared for. Sally was always smiling with contagious joy, a master scuba diver whose smile lit up every room she entered.
Sally’s bravery, courage, and joy for life were inspirational. She was a healer in every sense, always ready to offer herself in any capacity whether through her boundless compassion or professional expertise. Her legacy and love will live on in the hearts of those she touched, continuing to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
