Scott B. Nalven's Obituary
Scott Bennett Nalven, 51, unexpectedly passed away on February 6, 2017. He was an avid golfer, Harley rider, and beach lover. Scott graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Scott celebrated 29 years with General Electric and was GE's General Manager Southeast Caribbean. Scott came to faith in Christ in 2011 and was a member of Good News Church-World Golf Village.
He was preceded in death by his brother Brian Nalven and his father Robert Nalven.
Scott is survived by his wife Kimberli of 28 years, sons Josh and Ari, mother Frances Nalven, and his sister Janis Wayne.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 10, 2017 at Good News Church - World Golf Village; 573 W. Twincourt Trail, St. Augustine, FL. 32095
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to "Chase After A Cure" (CAAC) which raises awareness and research funds for childhood cancer, focusing on rare, hard to treat, cancers such as Neuroblastoma. http://chaseafteracure.com/alternative-gift-giving/
