Sharon Ann Secura's Obituary
With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Secura, 71, of Palm Coast, who entered eternal rest on September 11, 2025.
Sharon was born on September 10, 1954, to the late Edward and Elizabeth Potoczek. She grew up with a strong will and an even stronger heart, living each day fully and unapologetically true to herself.
She shared a beautiful life with the love of her life, Richard Secura, for 39 years before his passing. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. Sharon was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
A proud and passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Sharon cheered fiercely for her team. Beyond sports, she dedicated herself to helping others, especially through her meaningful work as a volunteer coordinator for hospice. Her determination, compassion, and zest for life inspired everyone who knew her. She did things her way, never concerned with the opinions of others, and her bold spirit left an unforgettable mark on her family, friends, and community.
She is survived by her loving children, Jennifer Secura, Jason Secura (Julie), and James Secura (Kay); her brother, Donald Potoczek (Beth); and her adoring grandchildren, Brynn, Christian, Angelina, Avery, and Cole, along with a host of extended family and dear friends who will continue to carry her memory forward.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service, 4601 E Moody Blvd, Palm Coast, FL 32110. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate a life well lived.
Sharon’s life was one of strength, service, and love. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of faith, laughter, and determination will live on in all who knew her.
