Dearest Aunt Sherry, one year ago today you were lifted up by the light of our LORD to the Heavens above to join in the hands with our other family members. I am saddened by the loss of our dear friend and colleague of so many years. Sherry came to the rescue so many times to assist in training and development of us all at Walt Disney Travel Company. We participated in the early CTC certification program together, attended many travel seminars, and enjoyed fun times together. Sherry loved to share stories of her family and friends. Sherry was a very special friend to me! We met in 1987 when she asked me join the travel team at Mid Florida Tech. We were instant good friends both had worked for the airlines, loved to travel and brag about our children! Don and I went to visit Sherry and Jon when we all retired in NC. She came to visit us in AL and have the cutest picture of her basting BBQ Ribs with a mop at Dreamland! We could sometimes talk for two hours on the phone and still have plenty more to say! I miss you sweet lady! RIP sweet friend until we meet again one day!

I met Sherry in 1985 when Mid Florida Tech offered classes for Travel Agent training and certification. I would cross paths with her 10yrs later at Disney while taking classes to obtain my CTC. She was always friendly and personable. She had me over to her home once, while still living on the west side of Orlando. She had many talents and friends and it was always a pleasure to see her and a positive experience to know her and have known her. She will always be remembered fondly💖

We were so blessed to have Sherry in our lives. Sherry and I became instant forever friends the day we met on my first day at Walt Disney Travel Company back in 1989, and we have life long memories from that day forward through work days, FL and NC years that included countless girls time, walking the beaches and hiking through the mountains to countless couples time and adventures with the boys that spanned over thirty years of life with Sherry. Rest in peace my dear pea pod friend, we were convinced we must have come from the same pea pod, until we meet again on the other side of that rainbow!
