Skyler Lee Thomas' Obituary
Skyler Thomas, a bright soul whose passion for life and positivity touched all who knew him, sadly passed away on August 2, 2024. Born on October 14, 2005, Skyler was full of joy, and was always surrounded by the love and warmth of his family and friends.
Skyler had a remarkable talent for making others laugh and cherished every friendship he made throughout his life. His favorite things were the ocean, fishing, being in nature and loved country music. Skyler’s creativity was seen in his love for woodworking, as he could always be found crafting something unique and special.
One of Skyler’s greatest dreams was to become an underwater welder. He loved spending time with his Grandpa, no matter what they were doing, but especially exploring nature with him. His passion for life and dreams was matched by his deep appreciation for the simple joys of life and the people he loved.
He is survived by his mother, Nila Thomas of Palatka; his loving and devoted grandparents, John and Gena Hammond of Palm Coast, and Brenda McCullough of Palatka, his aunt, Emily Hammond of Palm Coast; his brothers, Gaige and Vincent; and his sisters, Aaryn, Bella, and Lily.
Skyler’s memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him. His glowing spirit and irresistible smile will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Skyler’s life will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends for a viewing on Friday, August 16th , from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service. (4601 E. Moody Blvd G-7, Bunnell, FL 32110).
