Stanley Pelfery's Obituary
Stanley Pelfery, 67, passed away peacefully with his wife, Elisabeth at his side and his stepdaughter, Lauren and sister, Judy close by in Palm Coast, Florida. Despite fighting a long battle with dementia, he never lost his love of life or his ability to find joy.
Stanley was born in Amarillo, Texas. After graduating high school, he entered the Air Force as an enlisted soldier. He retired as a Captain with a license to practice as an orthopedic physician assistant. He then worked for the Veteran’s Medical Center in Oklahoma City until retirement. Stan was married to his high school sweetheart, Denise Seymour, for 34 years when she passed away from cancer. They lovingly raised two children, Ginefer and Dustin. He then married his beloved, Elisabeth Wilkerson and became a loving stepfather and role model to Lauren and Aaron.
Stan loved watching hockey and was involved in the Blazer’s hockey team’s booster club. He also loved traveling , his dogs and most of all spending time with his 4 grandchildren.
Stan was preceded in death by his father, Stanley, his mother Earlene and his first wife, Denise. He is survived by his wife, Elisabeth, his daughter Ginefer (Steven) Christy, his son Dustin (Erica) Pelfery, grandchildren Abigail and Connor Christy, and Brock and Harper Pelfery, step children Lauren Wilkerson and Aaron (partner Ashley Espinosa) Wilkerson, brother Gary (Cheryl) Pelfery and sister Judy (partner Robert Vries) Atwell.
