Stella Sue Leija
Stella Sue Leija, of Palm Coast, FL was born February 2, 1941 in Jefferson City, MO, of the late William Lawrence Clark and Gertrude Amanda Clark nee Brown, passed away February 19, 2015 at home with her loving family by her side at the age of 74 years.
Stella was a devoted wife to her husband Benjamin C. Leija for 39 years, and was a loving mother to her children.
She was preceded in death by two brothers William Clifford Clark Jr., David D. Clark, and one sister Elah M. Beard.
She is survived by her husband, Benjamin C. Leija of the home, one daughter Bobbie Sue Koelling of Missouri three sons; Bill Willis, Keith Willis and Bryan Willis all of Florida, five step children; Benjamin Leija, Jr., of MO, Julie Tucker of MO, Rosemary Fletcher & husband Doug of AR, Alicia McGuire, Sonya SanRoman both of MO, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; Dale Willis, William G. Willis, Crystal Haines and Angela Norman, Michael L. Koelling and Matthew S. Koelling, sisters; Juanita Shockley and Shelah A. Clark, brother, Paul Alan Clark, step brother & sisters; Ronnie Neiman, Mary (Janie) Phillips, Melody Wood and Kathy Hamm. Also special recognition to Patricia Schuller and Amy Long for their dedication and loving care of Stella through the years.
Funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Reverse Church, Marvin Garden Complex, 4610 E. Moody Boulevard, Suite G 6-8, Bunnell, FL 32110. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until the time of service.
Arrangements are under the care of Heritage Funeral & Cremation Service, Flagler County, FL.
