Stephanie Lee David's Obituary
Stephanie Lee David, 60, passed away unexpectedly in Palm Coast, FL on September 3, 2021. The youngest of four children, she was born in Providence, RI on September 27, 1960 to Robert Havener and Sharon (Hass) Havener.
Stephanie graduated from Brookfield (CT) High School in 1978. She met her husband George at Bowl-o-Rama, and they were married in November of 1996. They enjoyed bowling in a variety of leagues. Always up for an adventure, Stephanie, George, and daughter Mary also enjoyed travelling extensively whenever they had the chance. Stephanie and her family were very active with Faith Church in Danbury, CT until they moved to Palm Coast, FL in 2003. Once in Florida, they quickly embraced Church on The Rock in Bunnell, and were proud to be active, long standing members there. Stephanie loved going to church every Sunday!
Stephanie was passionate about helping people and loved being a CNA. Whether a patient or family, she would do anything to try to make their life better. She always seem to be there at just the right time. Stephanie was also funny and outgoing, and did not hesitate to speak her mind. She was especially encouraging to her daughter Mary and the rest of the family. Stephanie loved decorating the house for Christmas, and was known for baking the best cookies, too.
Stephanie is survived by her daughter Mary McGinley; sisters Laural (Garth) Davis and Farrol Lauermann, nieces Lauran and Jessie; and nephews Kyle and Aaron. Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sharon Havener, and husband George. Undoubtedly, she will be missed by countless friends and family, as well as her brothers and sisters in Christ from Church on the Rock.
A celebration of Stephanie's life will be held at The Church On The Rock, 2200 North State Street (US-1), Bunnell, FL 32110 on Saturday October 30, 2021 at 10:00am. Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
